Driving force behind ‘Amazing Race Asia 3’

CaltexTM, one of Asia’s leading energy brands, is the driving force behind "The Toughest Race" – "The Amazing Race Asia Season 3" as it presented an exclusive preview of the show’s first episode to its VIP Star Card customers and media recently Caltex also plans to host a variety of activities that will allow fans to demonstrate support for their local team. Team Philippines is being represented by model Geoff Rodriquez and former beauty queen Tish Silang.

The exclusive advance screening recently held at the Fiamma Restaurant along Jupiter St., in Makati City, treated VIP Star Card customers and media to "The Toughest Race" in three editions which highlighted values that match the values behind the Caltex brand.

This sponsorship makes Caltex the first and only energy company to be featured prominently in regional entertainment. "The Amazing

Race Asia" is the Asian edition of the 15-time nominated, seven-time Emmy Award winning reality travel competition. Caltex is a proud sponsor of the third season, which comprises 10 diverse teams from the Philippines, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore and Korea.

Sponsorship of "The Amazing Race Asia" enables Caltex to reach out to customers and audiences across the region. Last year, the series was watched by over 19 million viewers across Asia, covering all key markets in the region.

In conjunction with "The Amazing Race Asia 3," Caltex will be organizing a series of activities such as promotions and contests to rally the support of viewers for Team Philippines.
